Mhike's approach with his monitor mod was to keep it clean and keep it 'simple'. Making use of the strong theme found in Asus' TUF branded products, he replaced the monitor stand with a custom piece constructed from layered, laser-cut panels. Combined yellow accents placed around the monitor, this effective mod scored highly with ViewSonic, landing its top prize.

Stefan's no stranger to our forums, with his previous projects consistently being featured in both the Mod of the Month and Mod of the Year contests. For his monitor mod he decided to delve into the Star Wars universe to transform it into the sort of retro-terminal that you'd likely find on a rebel alliance base. Stefan's an experienced hand at prop work, and it shows with the details found in the fit and finish, plus it's always cool when you can't quite work out what the original product was that you started with!
